Information: Time: 14h00-16h00! Better known as “Faber,” I come from Polokwane in the
bushveld of Limpopo, where hunting, fishing, sports, and brandy pave the way
for your future. By leaving my comfort zone and relocating to Pretoria,
Gauteng, I discovered my passion for music. Formerly a hobby, I am now a fully
functional professional musician. My dream was to be a working session musician, playing bass
guitar and drums for anyone looking for a hired gun. As music became my source
of happiness, I built my way up to being a full-time acoustic guitar-playing
singer-songwriter, traveling the country with my 1975 VW Beetle to perform
non-stop head-bangers and soulful music that captures the essence of this wacky
world.
I hope to see you in the crowd at my next live
show, whether it be at a wedding, a campfire, a music festival, a coffee shop,
a winery, or your local entertainment venue. Please come say “Hi” if you do; I
would love to meet you.”
This Afrikaans-speaking, proudly SA-born rugby-playing teen dreamed of wearing
the green and gold for our national team. However, I have since chosen a
different path, bringing peace to people around our beautiful country and
sharing the gift of music with whomever will take a minute to listen and take
it all in. I am living out my passion, turning my dreams into reality, and
sharing the stage with some of our country’s top musicians, singers, engineers,
techs, and producers.
