Information: Time: Between 14h00 – 16h00! Le-Chelle is a Centurion-based independent and passionate
songwriter, singer, MC, motivational speaker, mother of two, devoted wife, and
driven business owner. She has been familiar with the music and performing
industry since a very young age. Her first album, Le-Chelle, was successfully released in
2012, consisting of 8 original songs, 2 acoustic covers, and 4 songs by
external writers. After taking a break from performing between 2017 and 2023 to
focus on family and other business ventures, she is back. She believes her
new-found mature approach to music and songwriting gives her the advantage of
delivering relatable, high-quality, and market-relevant songs. Le-Chelle’s earlier work carried an "old soul, red wine
& campfire" vibe, while her new music focuses on feel-good songs of
empowerment and positivity. She hopes her music will stand the test of time,
influenced by a variety of genres and generations. Her inspirations include
Aretha Franklin, Abba, Celine Dion, Evanescence, Queen, Corlea Botha, Tarryn
Lamb, Adele, and '80s legends like Roxette, Annie Lennox, and Brandi Carlisle. She tried out for Idols in 2006 and reached the Top 60. In
2010, she won Bay City Idols and entered several other local competitions. In
2013, she co-owned and presented a regional singing competition, High School
Superstar, sponsored by Cell C and supported by Toyota and Jacaranda FM. The
competition featured 21,000 high school learners with prelim auditions and
finals at participating schools. The grand finale took place at the Pretoria
State Theatre, with R400,000 in prizes awarded. Voting occurred via SMS on
Jacaranda FM and through community support. More recently, in 2024, Le-Chelle won an on-air competition
with Jacaranda FM and Spar, performing live on Friday Live with Martin Bester
and at the Tshwane Women’s Race in front of approximately 15,000 people. She has also performed at major events like Miss Grand SA at
Emperors Palace and shared the stage as a pre-show act and MC at Blou Hond
Teater since March 2024. She performed alongside well-known artists such as
Demi Lee Moore, Riaan Benade, Ruhan Du Toit, Nadine, Andriëtte, Jak de
Priester, Riana Nel, Watershed, Elandré, and Louis Loock. Le-Chelle also hosts her own motivational speaking events at
schools, ladies’ breakfasts, and private functions, focusing on women’s mental
and emotional wellness. She is the brand ambassador for Aestique Skin Centre
and Beauty Salon. Recently, she signed with David
Gresham Entertainment Group for distribution and public relations, ensuring
broad exposure for all her projects. Her company, Showtime Productions SA,
handles sound, lighting, and bookings for all her performances.
