Jason’s passion for singing & music is undeniable, and his love for the music can be seen through his songs, guitar play, and presence on stage.

Jason has been in the country music industry for the past 15 years. His greatest passion is to bring country music into the hearts of every person he meets.  He sings with absolute passion at every event, no matter how big or small, and his love for country music is undeniable.  He has been invited to different countries and has won numerous awards, due to his love for this genre and his vocal ability. 

In 2007 Jason met Lance James, who was immediately impressed by the way he sings, his guitar performance and stage personality, Lance James remains a huge inspiration to this day.

In 2008 Jason became part of the all star line up with the Country Legends and have been working with them ever since.

In 2009 Kyk Net also saw Jason’s incredible voice, and with the blessing of Lance James he was invited to the Kyk Net Country TV Show with Juanita Du Plessis, this being his debut TV appearance.

In 2010 Jason received an email from Curb Records in Nashville, (who produced artists like

Tim McGraw, and Lee-Anne Rimes), they heard his music and immediately invited him to come and meet with them.

In 2011 Jason released his first “Hit” album “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off, which went on to receive “Best Newcomer” at the Country Music Awards.  Nashville writers were so impressed with his voice and love for the genre that they offered to write songs for his new album, and Dirt Road was released in 2013.

In 2012 Jason launched his best selling album, This Is Country Music, as well as

“Inspirational Journey” which received the Gospel Country Award for “Three Wooden Crosses”

In 2013  Jason was invited to represent the East Rand at the Oos Rand Opskop at Carnival City, his performance immediately grabbed the attention of the Beeld, who published an article,

“Kempton Sanger Glo Nederigheid Bring Sukses”. 

 Shortly after, Dirt Road was released and many doors opened.

In 2014 Jason was asked to be on the front page of the Let’s Talk Magazine.

In July 2015 Jason also received the American, Akademia Award, for best Country Pop Song You’ve Still Got It from his Dirt Road Album

In 2015 he was also invited to perform as an International Star in New Zealand, at the

Marton Country Music Festival as well as the Festival of Lights.

He was also invited by Johan Stemmet to be on Noot vir Noot, Johan loved his vocals and sound, he invited Jason back for the next Season of Noot vir Noot as well as Musiek Roullette for the third time, which will air in January 2020.

In 2015 Jason was also awarded “ALBUM OF THE YEAR” for “Dirt Road”, which was on the Top 10 in North Island, Strabane Radio,  Australia and Italy – who still uses his music for line dancing shows.

Jason was also the only Country Artist to share the main stage at Innibos with South Africa’s biggest Afrikaans names in 2015 in front of 45 000 people, he was also asked to do a duet with Ricus Nel.

Since 2015, Jason has been gracing the stages all over the country as well as Namibia, Mozambique and Swaziland.

In 2016 Jason represented country music on TV shows such as, JAM, Jukebox, Hoor Hoor, and Be Your Dream. Jason’s Album, Then & Now was released.

In 2017 the Bellamy Brothers came to tour South Africa, The Bellamy Brothers chose Jason to be the opening act for their entire tour, which included Namibia, it was a huge honour to be a part of such great legends. 

In 2018 Jason was honoured to be the TV presenter for the TV series, S.A. Country Showcase, which will air in 2020. This is a series of personal interviews, special behind the scenes stories from South Africa’s Country Legends and friends in country music.

2019 Jason was honoured to open the stage for our own Riana Nel which was an incredible evening. Jason is currently busy with his brand new album which will be released shortly, top Nashville writers has again offered to write for him, and he himself as well as two fellow songwriters has penned down 6 of their own songs, which promises to be incredible!

Jason was honoured to be awarded the “Internationally Recognized Male Country Artist” at the 2019 awards, as well as “Video of the Year” for his song Dirt Road. (written by Gary Hannan & Harlan Pease).
