One finds it difficult to describe Lee Scott’s style of music. Some people would classify it as pop music, others see it as Blues and Swing music and the younger crowd watch him rocking at performances. He therefore leaves it up to his audience to decide for themselves. As far as he’s concerned he is living his dream, using his God-given talent to entertain the crowds.

With more than 11 years in the music industry under his belt and former member of the country’s top boy bands, Hi5, Lee has gained more experience than your average young artist. Theatre productions are nothing new for this talented performer as he has already starred on numerous stages including Barnyard theaters across the country, Sound Stage and the Gold Reef Hippodrome.  In 2007 he graced the stage of the well-known Son Amar theatre in Mallorca, Spain for more than 7 months.  In 2015 he was part of the Jennifer Rush tour group during her sold out shows in South Africa.

His debut album, ‘Die Enigste Manier’ was released in August 2010. The album received two music award nominations – a SAMA nomination in the category Best Pop Album as well as a Huisgenoot Tempo Award nomination for Best Pop Album.  Shortly afterwards he was the face of the popular kykNET show, ‘Sêr’ and guest presenter for the kykNET magazine programme, Bravo! In 2013 he released his second album, ‘Vir Ewig’ which was also nominated for various musical awards.

His latest single, Perfekte Vreemdeling was released in 2017 and his video concept for the track won the kykNET Video Music project competition in the same year. Recently he was casted as the face of the popular SABC2 music show, Kliphard! which features every Monday night.

Being a vocal coach and performing at festivals and functions almost every weekend also takes up a lot of his time but he is focused on releasing a new single and album in the near future. So watch this space!
